How Journalists are Using Foresquare as a Reporting Tool

Foresquare is a location-based social network that allows users to “check in” to public places using a smart-phone app or SMS. More than 10,000 people worldwide are using Foresquare, making it a powerful platform that reporters can use to track people during breaking-news events and protests.
